VWorks . Applications

The power of VWorks automation control software is unique for each of the thousands of different systems it can control. To best learn about how VWorks automation control software can perform in you application, you should consult with your local Velocity11 representative, who can provide you with an evaluation or arrange a demonstration.

One of the key advantages of VWorks is that a whole laboratory or organization can control a vast array of instruments and systems on a single platform. Benefits to researchers include simplification of the interaction with automation tools. This can be accomplished by reducing the time spent learning different software tools and shortened assay development time through familiarity with a single interface for protocol design and testing. Additionally, quality can improve though familiarity with a single interface. A benefit of standardization to developers is that each new software installation no longer requires a new custom IT development. This is especially important since it is difficult to implement cross-platform IT changes without affecting one or more systems. For internal customer developers, VWorks enables vertical integration of automation control software into the laboratory IT architecture which can reduce internal development costs with a single development interface. By developing long term IT structures for data transfer with automation systems, time spent supporting end users can be reduced.
