BioCel/Element Accessories . Translator
The Velocity11 Translator is a servo controlled device that transports ANSI compliant microplates or labware, one at a time, between two devices (or robots). Because it translates plates, the two robots do not need to access the same positions. The Translator is available in two lengths, allowing 14 or 22 inches of linear travel. It can be configured with or without a rotational axis that enables it to position the labware at any angle. The Translator can be used to transfer labware between adjacent BioCel modules and additionally extends the robotic work envelope. The Translator permits system integrations of external devices such as incubators, plate stores, or legacy systems

BioCel/Element Accessories . PlateHub
The Velocity11 PlateHub carousel is the newest addition to Velocity11’s BioCel automated system suite of solutions. It provides large-capacity random access storage of deepwell plates, standard plates, tube racks or tip boxes. The PlateHub is an easy to operate direct-drive rotating plate storage hotel that provides rapid and precise operation for consistent plate placement on each position of every shelf. The high speed powerful motor can easily be changed between low, medium, and fast rotation speeds which are fast enough to never bottleneck any assay. The small footprint and the fast cycle time, together with high reliability makes the PlateHub ideal for system integration

BioCel/Element Accessories . Plate Hotel
The Velocity11 Plate Hotel is a fixed metal plate rack that enables storage of up to 16 ANSI compatible plates. Robotic systems have immediate, random access to all plates. The Plate Hotel can be removed from a BioCel, Element, or similar system to access plates from the front, or the Plate Hotel can be left in the system for plate access from the back.

BioCel/Element Accessories . Lid Hotel
The Velocity11 Lid Hotel* is compact device that is able to store plate lids so they can be returned to the plates that they were removed from. It includes a sensor at each lid position so the system knows which positions contain lids. Lidded plates are brought to the lid hotel, so that the lids are held by the rollers. The robot then pulls the plate down, leaving the lid behind. The Lid Hotel will not drop a lid in the event of a system power outage or air pressure loss.
