VWorks Developers Kits

The VWorks automation control software platform includes optional software designed for customer-developers to accomplish a range of development, configuration, and testing work without using Velocity11 professional services. Available modules include:

VWorks Simulation

The Simulation Only version of VWorks system provides access to all devices, and allows you to write and test protocols at your desk, without having to connect to a single device.

IWorks™ Developer’s Kit

The IWorks software module allows customers to easily write drivers for instruments and devices that Velocity11 does not offer as a standard driver. (Note: Velocity11 Professional Services will also write custom drivers for customers).

VHooks™ Developer's Kit

The VHooks software module allows developers to create various “hooks” into VWorks software to enable interfacing with external applications. The VHooks application programming interface (API) enables LIMS integrations, remote management, workflow management, and building applications on top of VWorks4 and using VWorks4 as “middleware.”
