Velocity11 categorizes groupings of instruments that work together into "workstations" and "systems." Workstations are a set of instruments that work together that are installed on a customer's existing lab bench top. These workstations typically utilize a BenchCel microplate handling system as the central plate handling robot and contain around 1 to 5 integrated devices. Systems are sets of instruments usually attached to a special table or enclosure with integrated power management, shipped as a complete system where the customer provides floor space for the unit.   These systems typically utilize a centralized articulated arm robot like the BioCel and Element systems. For both systems and workstations, Velocity11 can include customer specified "third party instruments" (instruments manufactured by other automation suppliers) as part of a total Velocity11 delivered solution.
